Memphis Star traded
Well the day has come. Memphis has finally traded star SF Rudy Gay to the Toronto Raptors. He is involved in a 3 way trade that includes the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, and the Memphis Grizzlies. The Raptors traded Jose Calderon to Detroit and Ed Davis to the Grizzlies. The Pistons traded Austin Daye and Tayshaun Prince to Memphis. This trade significantly increased the Grizzlies' budget. Now they are focused on guard Mike Conley, PF Zach Randolph, and C Marc Gasol. Toronto has a quality team now. Big names are Kyle Lowry, Andrea Bargnani, DeMar DeRozan, and now Rudy Gay.
Big Free Agents Still Available
Although the first spring training game less than 30 days away, there are still some more than solid players left on the free agent block. The best available player is Michael Bourn the lightning speed outfielder who played for the Astros before coming to Atlanta to finally come into free agency. He as had 2 seasons with 61 stolen bases! There is also the solid Grady Sizemore worth taking a risk on. If he gets the playing time he could become a very decent outfielder. Very surprisingly there is still an absolutely great pitcher out there in Kyle Lohse. In 211 innings pitched he had a 16-3 record, 143K's, and a very nice 2.86 ERA. Personally i would take a huge chance on pair of 31 and 35 year-old pitchers in Joe Saunders and Roy Oswalt. Although Roy only pitch 59 innings he had an OK 4-3 record. but he also had 59 strikeouts for 59 innings. His ERA was still skyrocketed as he had a few a few bad games either way, Id still take the chance. Lastly Joe Saunders who had a very down year last year. He had 174 innings pitched, 112 Ks, a 4.07 ERA, and a 9-13 record. It might just be a guess but I think whoever picks him up (if anybody does) they might get lucky

It Cant Be Him!
There have been reports that the one and only Ray Lewis was giving steroids to help him recover quicker. As we all know that is against the rules. But I really don't think Ray Lewis would do those drugs it's probably a bunch 49er fans that wants to sabotage the game, by fans I mean the company that reported these accusations(SWATS).This is the company that supposedly gave the steroids to Ray Lewis, to speed his recovery from the torn triceps. I hope that no one believes this as I think Ray Lewis is a clean player and he wouldn't do any kind of drugs.

Cavs and Heat Target Greg Oden
After playing just 82 games total in 3 seasons Oden had no choice except sit out this season. Now he plans on coming back for next season and the Cavs and the Heat are the major teams looking to pick him up. The 7 foot center has big potential as long as he can stay healthy for the rest of his career. Although this is a huge risk in trying to take him it might be a steal. Because Cleveland is rebuilding right now it wouldn't be bad to take that chance. Miami has to worry about there budget holding the big 3.
