Felix Hernandez

Felix Hernandez After Throwing His No Hitter Last Year
Felix Hernandez from the Seattle Mariners has signed a contract extension with the Seattle Mariners worth 135 Million Dollars. This is one of the biggest money making deals for any Pitchers of all time. He will make an annual amount of 27.5 million, this is the second largest amount. The highest amount for an annual salary was 28 million by Roger Clemens. This most likely means to me that the Seattle Mariners want to keep Felix in Seattle for his whole career. He deserves this extension as he has been one of the best pitchers for a while now.

Heart Breaker in Ann Arbor

The game down to the final 7 seconds of the game after Aaron Craft missed the mid range jumper. Ohio State was still down by 1 with Michigan at the Free Throw line. He made the first and missed the second and    OSU still had a timeout with the 7 seconds but they didn't use it. Craft again raced down the floor trying to be the hero by tying the game but then again he was blocked by Tim Hardaway JR. to loose the game. Final score 76-74 Michigan win.

Steve Nash

Happy 39th Birthday to Steve Nash. He has had a decent season this year, and it will probably be one of his last. As of right now Nash's Lakers are losing to the Celtics 95-69 at the end of the 3rd, after a great Celtics run.

KG reaches 25K

Kevin Garnett has reached 25,000 points. That's good enough for 16th on the all-time list. He also has 10,000 career boards, 5K assists, and 1,500 blocks and steals. He is the only player ever to have those numbers. With those numbers KG climbs a couple spots on my top 100 list.

Lakers are a mess

Yesterday the LA Lakers learned that Pau Gasol will be out 4-6 weeks after he injured his foot against the Nets. Now both Pau and Dwight are out. Dwight should be back soon, but for now LA will most likely start backup center Robert Sacre (a Gonzaga grad) and Earl Clark. Clark has been playing well lately but he is no Pau or Dwight...
