Kobe Bryant Torn Achilles
Kobe Bryant tore his Achilles the other night against the Warriors. It will likely take him anywhere from 6-12 months to recover. The Lakers are on the verge of making the playoffs but now their chances are almost completely gone. Some people think Kobe injured his Achilles because he was playing an extreme amount of minutes, but others think it was just bad luck. An injury like this has ended Shaq's career and it has hindered Chauncey Billups. Of course Kobe vowed to come back from this injury, but people think that he won't be himself next year, but knowing Kobe I expect him to come back next year playing great.

Zack Greinke gets injured in bench clearing brawl.
Although Zack Greinke's innings are getting limited early this season due to a minor injury, He came out pitching well as he did in his first start this season. In a heated battle between Zack Greinke and Carlos Quentin where Quentin has hit 4 homeruns in 21 at-bats where he has also been hit twice, one of which he almost charged the mound. In the sixth inning it was Quentin himself at bat. They fought to a 3-2 count and Greinke was starting windup. Quentin being a batter who doesn't leave the box even if a ball was coming his way was plunked in the shoulder by a fastball. While Quentin was on his way to first Greinke had something to say, something Quentin didn't like. Quentin dropped his bat and was halfway to the mound when Greinke dropped his shoulder. The bench came roaring out and before long so did the bullpen. A big pileup was made as players and coaches tried to pull their players off before they got suspended. Greinke who got a 147 million dollar contract got the worst of it as he came out with a fractured/broken colarbone and will be out for 6-8 weeks. Still, if you have him on your fantasy team i would recommend putting him in your DL slot. Other ejection included Carlos Quentin, Matt Kemp, Jerry Hairston Jr. Suspensions/Fines are said to be handed out soon.

Kobe gets season high
Last night Kobe and the Lakers boosted their playoff hopes with a 113-106 win over the 11th place Trail Blazers. Kobe dominated last night and had a season high 47 points, 8 boards, 5 assists, 4 blocks, and 3 steals. Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard combined for 43 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists. Damian Lillard had a career night scoring 38 and dropping 9 dimes. The Lakers are now 1 game ahead of the Jazz. The Lakers have 5 games left and the Jazz have 3.
Started off hot
Atlanta has started the season off great. With them going 8-1 and winning 6 straight games. Their pitchers are playing great and Craig Kimbrel is finishing games and recording saves. Also the Upton brothers are playing great together. Their next series is against the striving Nationals but I still think that they will win.
