Election night in the NBA
Last night there was only 3 games in the NBA due to the presidential election (Obama won). The Bulls beat the Magic 99-93 behind Luol Deng's 23 point and 8 rebound performance. Although Afflalo had 28 points the rest of the Magic didn't have enough in the tank to beat Chicago. The Nuggets end their win-less start by beating the 0-4 Pistons. Greg Monroe had 27 and 10 while Stuckey put up 17 points 4 assists and 4 boards. On the other side Iguodala had only 17 but pulled down 10 rebounds but he also had 4 turnovers. JaVale McGee had 16 point off the bench. The Thunder crushed the Raptors 108-88. KD only had 15 points but Russel Westbrook had 18 and 8. The Raptors rookie center had a decent 18 point night. Overall it was a decent but short night in the NBA.

Not a Chance
The San Francisco Giants Completely shut down the Tigers all series only giving up 4 runs in four games with two shutouts.. one of which pitched by Barry Zito carving out Justin Verlander in game 1. If you would have told me that the Giants wouldn't have their star closer, Melky Cabrera wouldn't be playing, and that Tim Lincecum would be coming out of the bull-pin at the start of the post-season. I wouldn't believe you. But it happened and the Giants won the world series. 4-0
Go Pack Go!
After starting the season 2-3 the Packers have come back and are now 5-3 after beating the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-15. Although Rodgers only had 186 yards passing and Crosby missed a field goal late in the game they still were able to pull it out. The Packers have turned their season around and are looking to beat the Arizona Cardinals this weekend to gain their fourth strait win.
