Heisman Winner

     It came down to the 3 top players in the NCAA. Manziel, Klein, and Te'o. Even though Klein was almost completely out of the race after the Baylor loss he fought his way back to the top 3. Manziel was helped significantly by his win vs. Alabama but also just his play overall this season. Te'o was just a beast. A fan favorite to win which  helped him in the race he had a unbelievable defensive season. The one that came out was Manziel though. He made history by being the first freshman to win the award. What can you say about that?

     The Bears just lost to the Minnesota Vikings 21-14 in a close game. Chicago is now 8-5 and the Vikings are 7-6. The Packers still hold the division lead while the Bears are on the edge of losing their wild card. Meanwhile the 8-4 Packers play the 4-8 Lions tonight at 7:20 central. The Packers will probably win the division and I think that the Vikings will sneak into 2nd place and leave the Bears hanging.

Kobe youngest to 30K

     Kobe Bryant is the youngest player ever to score 30,000 points. He reached this milestone by scoring 29  against the New Orleans Hornet. I think that Kobe will score a total of 37,500 points in his career but it's possible he could become the all time leader and surpass his fellow Laker Kareem Abdul-Jabbar who scored 38,387 in his career.

James Starks OUT!!!!

On the Packer's Sunday game against the Vikings, the Packers got a running touchdown by no other than James Starks. It was only the 3rd running touchdown on the year, and James Starks was getting in a groove. He was running really well up until he hurt his knee. Coach Mike McCarthy wanted said that he would be out for multiple weeks, and it only looked like a bruise at first. Hopefully the Packers will keep up their running game, even without Starks. 

Bret Bielema to Arkansas

Coach of the Badgers Bret Bielema left Wisconsin after the 70- 31 win over #12 seed Nebraska. He left to go to the Razorbacks which is in Lafayette Arkansas. This come out of random right after the Badgers made the Rose bowl for the 3rd straight year.

Ryan Grant is back.

     Ryan Grant is coming back to the Packers with their unstable RB situation. Both of their other RB's are on IR for right now. The Packers are hoping that Ryan Grant can produce for them more than most of their other backs.
