D-Rose still far from return

D-Rose has been taking full contact practices but he says he is still 80%. He also said he will come back when he is 110% and he doesn't know when that will be. As of now don't expect him to be ready to play this season.

Michael Vick

Michael Vick signed a 1 year $10 million deal. This is questionable for the Eagles because now they would have had Vick through 2016, but he hasn't been as productive.

Celtics vs Bobcats

The Celtics lost their first game since losing Rondo to a torn MCL. They are currently 7-1 without him. This comes as a surprise because Rondo is their best player, but now Boston is playing with a sense of urgency. The Celtics know that they must move the ball and play as a team to win this year, and until this loss to the worst team in the L, they had done that.

Micheal Bourn

Micheal Bourn has agreed to a deal that will send him to the Cleveland Indians. The deal is worth 4 years and 48 million dollars. This isn't the first big deal they had with a good free agent this off season, they also had a deal with Nick Swisher worth also 4 years but 58 million dollars. Look for the Indians to be a pretty good team this year as there not perfect but they have some players that could really get this team some attention.

Crazy 5 OT Game

Saturday Night the # 25 Notre Dame Fighting Irish squared off against the #11 team in the nation, Louisville Cardinals. Both of these teams have been getting criticism about if they are "for real" teams or competitors when March Madness comes around. Through the whole game neither team could pull away and in the end of regulation the score stood 60-60. In 1st overtime tied at 68, Russ Smith could not hit the long three to end 1st overtime. Next, in 2nd overtime Notre Dame's Gaurd/Forward Pat Connaughton Drained a 3 to tie it up at 75 with 15 seconds left. Louisville could not capitalize and were found going into another OT. In 3rd overtime #11 guard for Notre Dame drove for a score to take the lead by 1. Louisville would hit a free throw at the end. In 4th overtime Notre dame would find themselves down 93-91 as time started to run low. Charging for the basket Eric Adkins would lose grip of the ball as it sailed toward the crowd. Amazingly, the #2 forward would save the ball from going out. Almost instantly Zach Auguste put up a hook shot that would hit the rim and and miss. Some how the ball would be tipped twice and forced in. As Crazy as it sounds Notre Dame tied it at 93 and with 5 seconds left Russ Smith again lost the ball and could not make the three. The two teams were going into there 5th overtime. With About 8 seconds left Louisville drove down the court down 104-101. Again it was Russ Smith taking the shot, and again it was Russ Smith missing the shot. The ball went out of bounds and fans rushed the court. Notre dame wins, 104-101 Final, 5ot

Illinois beats Indiana in a thriller

Once again the number 1 team falls. This time it was Indiana on top once again and again they can't hang on to it. Going into halftime Indiana had a promising 41-29 lead over the tough and surprisingly unranked team. The second half fell apart for the Hoosiers. Illinois outscored IU in the second half 45-31. Worst part about the last point, it was a buzzer beater. With 0.9 seconds left in the game Indiana left the basket open and let the pass go right to Tyler Griffey who laid it in to win the game.
