UCONN crushes in Championship Game

At one point during Louisville was winning the game 14-12 but then UCONN went on a 19-0 run. UCONN was at half was winning 48 to 29. This was dominating performances by fresman Brianna Stewart and Kaleena Mosqueda Lewis. The Final score was 93-60 as Geno Auriemma gets his 8th Championship.

Louisville wins the Tourney!

Last night Louisville beat Michigan in the NCAA championship. Rick Pitino is now the first coach to win a title with two different teams (Kentucky and Louisville). Thoughout the game it was always close, and at one point of the game Michigan was up twelve. Then Luck Hancock started shooting. The Championship MVP went 5-6 for threes and rallied Louisville when they were down. Although Trey Burke, Glenn Robinson lll, and Tim Hardaway Jr had great games they fell 6 points short 82-76. I think that Louisville has a pretty good chance of repeating of what they did last year.

My (Jack's) NBA Awards

This year has been a great one in the NBA. There have been monster jams ala Deandre Jordan over Brandon Knight, and Lebron James over Jason Terry. There have also been great streaks: the Denver Nuggets 16 game win streak, the Clippers 17 game win streak, and of course Miami's 27 game win streak. Also there is a great race for the scoring title. Kevin Durant is looking for his 4th consecutive scoring title, while Carmelo Anthony has other plans. Durant was leading Melo in the scoring race, but Melo went on a tear scoring 50, 40, 41, 36 in each of his last four games, and he is now leading Durant. Anthony is averaging 28.44 per game, and Durant is averaging 28.35 per.

NCAAM Championship Prediction- Ricky

This year has been a year of a lot of upsets, and now we are down to two teams that are going to try and win it all. #1 Seeded Louisville will take on #4 Seeded Michigan. This game will not be as close as everybody thinks. Michigan will take the early lead and will hold onto it through halftime. Trey Burke will have a good first half by scoring 14 points and having some assists. And Louisville will have a horrible first half and only going to shoot 35% from the field but will make all of their free-throws which will make this game closer than it should be. Halftime Score- 35-26 Michigan Leading. But the second half will be much different for Louisville as Coach Rick Pitino will have a amazing pep talk and their will come out on fire. And for Michigan they will have thought Louisville was going to keep shooting horribly and lose their ground. In the end I have Louisville beating Michigan 60-54.
