College Basketball
Last night #2 Duke defeated North Carolina 73-68. P.J. Hariston had 23 points for the heels, but it wasn't enough to push them over the hump. Additionally Wisconsin native J.P. Tokoto only played 3 minutes in this rivalry game. Mason Plumlee had 18 points and 11 boards.
UCONN topped #6 Syracuse 66-58, Brandon Triche had a terrible night, he scored 9 points on 3-15 shooting including 0-7 from 3-point land. Cuse shot 35.4% as a squad and 17.4% from 3. UCONN on the other hand shot 8-14 from 3 (57.1%), and 46.7% from the field. Shabazz Napier had 10 points and 7 assists for the Huskies. UCONN got a good win last night.
#1 Indiana rolled past Nebraska 76-47. While #3 Miami taking on Florida State was anything but a blowout. Miami won 74-68 in the end after they sunk 3-4 free throws to end the game. Shane Larkin had 22 points on 9-15 shooting last night. Miami shot 63.8% as a team. This was a fairly sloppy game, with 33 total turnovers committed.
