This year has been a great one in the NBA. There have been monster jams ala Deandre Jordan over Brandon Knight, and Lebron James over Jason Terry. There have also been great streaks: the Denver Nuggets 16 game win streak, the Clippers 17 game win streak, and of course Miami's 27 game win streak. Also there is a great race for the scoring title. Kevin Durant is looking for his 4th consecutive scoring title, while Carmelo Anthony has other plans. Durant was leading Melo in the scoring race, but Melo went on a tear scoring 50, 40, 41, 36 in each of his last four games, and he is now leading Durant. Anthony is averaging 28.44 per game, and Durant is averaging 28.35 per.

NCAAM Championship Prediction- Ricky
Hot Hitters
Chris Davis, Baltimore- This batter started the season hot and he's not planning on slowing down. Chris Davis already has 4 home runs and an outstanding 17 RBIs although we are only less than a week into the season.
Adam Jones, Baltimore- Adam Jones has started this young season batting a great .538 batting avg.
Michael Morse, Seattle Morse recorded 5 home runs in the first 6 games of the season with 8 RBIs starting him out as one of the hottest hitters in the league out of spring training.

Other hot hitters- Jed Lowrie, Oakland; Todd Frazier, Cincinnati; Dextor Fowler, Colorado; Justin Upton, Atlanta.
Although, it is very early in the season these are some hot hitters to pick up if available in your league
Lakers 0.5 games out
As the Lakers lost to the Clippers they were hoping the Warriors would beat the Jazz but they did the opposite. The Jazz won 97-90 and the Lakers lost 109-95. If the two teams would tie the Jazz would get the tiebreaker and get the 8 spot. With 5 games left for the Lakers their time is closing but they have to play the Spurs, Rockets, Warriors, Trail Blazers, and the Hornets.
NCAA Championship Prediction
Tonight's game will definitely be an interesting on. #4 seed Michigan will take on #1 overall seed Louisville. Michigan is lead by star pint guard Trey Burke, who is the only player of the year candidate to reach the Final Four. Guards Russ Smith and Peyton Siva will lead the well-balanced Louisville attack. I think this game will go down to the wire, like many other championships. Trey Burke will get a fast break layup to go up 2 with 15 seconds remaining. Russ Smith will attempt a 3 pointer to win but will miss because he is fouled. He will make the 1st and 3rd free throw to send the game to overtime. The game will carry on the a third overtime. Both teams will be affected by foul trouble in the long game. Michigan will lose Burke while Louisville loses Smith and Siva. Although Louisville has a better bench than Michigan, Tim Hardaway Jr. will hit a go-ahead 3 with 30 seconds remaining. Michigan will make their free throws to seal the 95-90 victory.
