One At-Bat

If you didn't know this, Adam Greenberg was a surging Double-A and Triple-A player in 2004 who got his first major league at bat in 2005 for the Chicago Cubs. First pitch he saw came straight for his head. 95 MPH. He went straight to the hospital and never played in the majors again, until last night when the Marlins signed Adam Greenberg to a one day contract to get his one at-bat. He came to the plate in the bottom of the sixth against the knuckle-baller R.A. Dickey. He threw him all knuckle-balls high in the zone. Greenberg struck-out but, he still got his one... At-Bat.
