Alex Smith has been traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. I am not surprised by this as the 49ers have been looking for trade options for Smith. This obviously means their sticking with their young and athletic quarterback (Colin Kaepernik) that came in the middle of the season (When Smith got hurt) and brought them to a Superbowl. In return for Smith the 49ers get a second round pick and between a 3-5 round pick in 2014. I hope Smith and the Chiefs do well this year and hopefully they won't come in last place this year.Wednesday, February 27, 2013
